ICE (Incredibly Cool Events) is a new EP and in their first year so we thought we would support them and try out one of their events in Manchester. However it seemed the curse of the snow had returned and we were stunned at the amount that fell. Thankfully we did make it to Manchester and on arrival I received a big hug from Kimberley (Director of ICE) as she could not believe our luck again either.
As ever everyone worked really hard for this competition. We entered new categories and, took 5 teams, it is always risky coming out of your comfort zones but we had to try and wow was it worth it.

Flare Level 1 Mini Cheer - 1st out of 5
Ignition Level 1 Youth Cheer 1st out of 3
TSD Youth Dance - 1st out of 2
The cheerleaders were stunned with the results and could not stop asking if it was real, what a confidence boost it was for them.
This was a lovely small competition (it won’t be small next year that’s for sure) and I am so glad we tried different categories. We had some amazing feedback and advice from the judges which we will certainly take on board for future competitions.
